We are an Independent Baptist Church located in Camden LGA, NSW. Our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, worship Him wholeheartedly, and lovingly proclaim His truth to our community. We would be honoured to welcome you, and we look forward to getting to know you.

Walking In Truth

Since Day 1, this church has adopted the tagline of “Truth in Love” (Eph. 4:15). It reveals our desire, focus, and commitment to getting the balance right. Truth without love, leads to legalism. Love without truth leads to liberalism. Getting the balance correct is vital.

The Apostle John, introduces us to a man whom he “loved in the truth”. He’s called “the well-beloved Gaius” (3 John 1). It seems he was a man who had the balance correct.

Of him, John wrote “For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.” Gaius was a man that John had a privilege to lead in matters of faith. Maybe he led him to Christ!? He saw him as one of his spiritual children and proclaimed, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” But Gaius’ life was characterised by more than just truth.

Gaius wasn’t just “well-beloved” and well-known for his truth, he was also well-known for his love. He loved people! - saved and unsaved, brethren and strangers. John wrote “Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church:” (3 John 5-6a). The spirit of Gaius is evidence of the Spirit of God. It brings me much joy when I see it on display in our church. Thank you for your commitment to getting AND keeping the balancecorrect, because we can’t walk without balance.
